I am 52 and an indian. iused to sit crosslegged for puja's and meditations earlier but now i am unable to sit?

why am i not able to sit cross legged for more than 2 or 3 minutes. i am a very active person. Is it the effect of menopause?

it indicates that u r developing osteo-artheritis, in this the ligaments of joints becomes stiff.

You are getting older - the joints start to get stiffer as you get older. Just sit normally on a chair , you'll be fine.

The question is incomplete. What happens after 2/3 minutes?Pain in knee or waist or spinal cord?No concern with menopause.could just be an age thing. it would hurt lots of older women to sit like that for ages.
maybe get a doctor to check you out

You consult a doctor for blood pressure.  I personally had leg paid before the BP starts.
